Bertie Does is a Perth-based boutique event studio delivering beautifully curated weddings and events. With a modern and refined style at heart, we love to push boundaries. Adding fun and a little bit of edge to every event we do. From big, shiny weddings to intimate private and large corporate events, we can do it all.

We offer bespoke event design, styling, sourcing, production, management and execution. Our styling service extends to florals, lighting, hire, furniture, fit out and signage.

Our philosophy is to ‘have the party’. After all, life is short so you should hold onto all the special moments it has to offer. Acknowledge them, celebrate them and create wild memories to remember for many years to come.

A note from our Creative Director

Creativity had my heart from a very young age. Dancing, drawing, writing, producing street plays with the neighbourhood kids, even an early love of interiors; I vividly remember dragging the furniture around my parents living room, obsessed with redecorating. I am not surprised life led me to events; I have always been a natural born organiser, a lover of lists and fast paced environments.

After completing a double degree in Marketing and Event Management at Melbourne’s Victoria University, my love for events intensified. Undertaking event internships at L’Oreal Fashion Festival, the Australian production of Wicked The Musical and Relay For Life was an incredible introduction to the industry. It was dynamic, it was challenging but it was exhilarating and at that point I was hooked, I knew this was it for me. This is what I wanted to do.

Now all these years later, I still love what I do. Immensely. No two events are the same, I get to meet and work with so many talented people, I am entrusted with handling significant life moments and the feeling I get walking into a space before the guests arrive, adrenaline pumping, well that is something else and is still as addictive as ever.
